Modern dating is built for speed and convenience, but leaves less room for spontaneity. Apps encourage quick judgments and long conversations, while meeting someone naturally in real life feels less common. The challenge was to create a low-pressure way to make the first move without losing the excitement and uncertainty that makes those moments feel special.

(the work)

After an intensive research and iteration phase, we developed Kvitto, a table-to-table messaging concept for bars. Guests scan a QR code to send a short message, rose, dare, or drink to another table, which is then printed as a physical receipt. The goal was to make the first move feel easier without removing the uncertainty and excitement of meeting someone in real life.

(the result)

I took part in the branding, logo design, interface mockups, animation, and interactive prototype, while also contributing to research and concept development throughout the project. The final visual system was playful and nostalgic, with an interface designed to stay simple and easy to use in a busy bar setting.
